As a Kenyan wildlife conservationist and safari guide, I often seek out unique culinary experiences, and the restaurant here did not disappoint. On one of the evenings, I savored a steak sourced from a local butcher-cooked just to my liking, tender and juicy. It was wonderfully complemented by classic sides of peas, mushroom, and crispy onion rings, making for a comforting yet refined meal. The lively atmosphere, especially with the local band playing, added to the experience, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Although breakfast options were limited to cereals and fruit, I appreciated that the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. While I was hoping for a full English breakfast, I was still pleased with the overall value and service. I would consider returning for another gastronomic adventure in this quaint setting.
